Trigger and CM

Does triggering still allow your body to create all of the cervical mucus changes? I triggered Wednesday night so it has almost been 36 hours and yesterday had creamy whiteish cm and this morning it is like a lot of watery cm. Like just runs off of my hand like water. Is this good? I haven’t seen any egg white at all yet.
