Upcoming breast reduction surgery

After successfully breastfeeding 6 babies over the years my boobs have grown from Cs to triple Ds. These breasts of mine are huge to the point it causes mild back pain plus it's just plain uncomfortable. Over the years I've saved money and researched the best surgeons I found one in Charlotte the surgery is set for March. I want to do this badly but the pain afterwards is whats scaring me. Has anyone does this before or even heard of someone doing it? I need some encouragement.
