Is anyone on pills that make them have fewer periods?

My period & pms is so bad, I just don't want it anymore. 
I've never used birth control pills... is it safe in your 30s to use birth control to have fewer periods?

Im on mirena iud about to turn 30 and i havent had my period in a year. Theres no reason to have a period. Its fine to skip.

I used Elani Cycle for over a decade. I had my periods each 3 months it was great. My skin also thanked me. On July/2019 I decided to take a break and try the body awareness method. It has being working for me. I feel rested with less time of sleep, more energized and got off anxiety pills 🙏🏼 But my skin got a lot of pimples, I gained a little weight and my cycle hasn’t got regular. Since I started the pills when I was 14 my cycle never been regular on its own. But... I feel if I ever want to get pregnant having only 3 or 4 cycles in a year would be an issue.

You can definitely take birth control bills to miss your period but it’s not recommended to alter your period for more than three months. It can be harmful for your body. You should definitely take to your health provider about which options would be best for you and let them know what you’d like. There are so many different birth control options and your bound to find one that makes you confident 🙂
