Would you like being a stay at home wife if your partner wasn't controlling?
I've been really sick of working, mostly just sick of doing someone else's bidding, so I'm working towards starting my own small business so I can set my own schedule and have more freedom.
I've had a bad year at my job, and I hate the company I work for and everything they put me through. I think they're unethical and they're managed like a house on fire.
I find myself not wanting to work & not taking it as seriously. Especially after studying socialism and thinking about the capitalist propaganda which makes people believe things about working for someone else seem really silly. Like, we are being used to gain someone else's wealth & the system is inefficient. We could work less & have more if things were different.
I find myself a bit envious of my grandma's lifestyle as a homemaker.
It would be pretty lit to stay home, clean, cook, read, write, hike, do a bunch of crafts or whatever... do whatever crazy idea I had.
I just don't think working for someone else most of your life is worth it. It's stupid. But most of us have to.
And stay at home mothers don't get enough respect, I learned that from this community... like their labor is incredibly valuable too, they tend to work extremely hard, but get less respect because it's not paid labor.
Anyway, I've always been a very hard worker, I've always paid my bills, I buy my own stuff, in fact I've paid other people's bills if anything, and supported a previous partner financially... do I kind of want someone to do it back now??
I don't see it in the cards for me, because I am afraid of being abused, and having money used to control me, so I'm just over here getting my shit way more together to be even more independent & financially secure... but I have daydreams about not having to pay for freaking everything 😥 working AND working on independent goals is harder as I get older. Like it's so much to manage, I don't know how people have kids & do all this!!
Know what I mean? Or do you think I'm lazy? Lol
