How long for bruises cheekbone to heal?

Long story short. I got out of an abusive relationship a couple months ago. I finally got the courage to leave after he hit me pretty hard on my face. My cheekbone was bruised for a few weeks and hurt for awhile. Every now and then I’ll get these pains right where the bruising was and sometimes it’ll still feel sore when I run my hand over my face. Is this normal?

Also, I no longer speak or see my ex. I am completely out of that situation and safe.
