I’m wondering if anyone has noticed a change in their baby’s poop after receiving their two month vaccinations.

Baby got her shots Tuesday. Starting Thursday evening she had dark mucousy green poop that smelled terrible. Her poops are less mucousy now but they’re still greenish yellow and very smelly. Baby has been extremely fussy since Thursday and has had more trouble sleeping than usual.

Called the pediatrician and they said green poop was normal for a breastfed baby, and it is unrelated to the vaccines.

I’ve seen many other moms post and complain the oral rotavirus vaccine caused green mucousy poop for their babies. I’m tending to agree since it was a live virus used and the vaccine does have notable GI side effects.

Anyone else have this problem? If so, when did it get better?
