Christmas pneumonia-Am I overreacting?

Haley

We were supposed to be doing to christmas today at my husband's dads family. Yesterday his aunt casually posted on Instagram that she has a pneumonia. I called my MIL...who then called her MIL to ask if my husband's aunt was still planning on going today (ridiculous I know but that's how his family rolls🤷‍♀️). So we learn that she will be at christmas today and that she has supposedly been on medication for 48 hours. Her story doesn't add up. She said she spent most of the evening two days ago at patient first...so it would still be less than 24 hours because they are eating at 1pm. My MIL told her MIL that my husband and I would not be coming today just to be on the safe side, because I am more susceptible and have had a hard pregnancy. Her response was that someone was sick at my shower and I didnt get sick from them so I would be fine. I have had so many issues so far, including breathing problems. These issues already have put me at a higher risk for preterm labor. I am not asking his aunt not to go or making it a big deal. We just are not going. Now everyone is mad at my husband and I and his parents because we all agree I should stay home.
