Wedding band instead of engagement ring?

Instead of a traditional engagement ring, I’ve been thinking of going with a band with diamonds. I think they are considered more of an anniversary ring. I’ve been engaged before and while the larger stone is gorgeous, I found it uncomfortable to wear everyday.

I worked with Jewellery for a really long time, and a lot of Women now, actually prefer just a band, whether plain, detailed or Diamond, it was the same reasons - work related, more comfortable, more variety, more personalized.
I think its wonderful, and if that's what youd prefer then go for it, you can always get a "traditional" engagement at some point if you change your mind ❤

My engagement ring is actually an anniversary ring and it couldn’t be better. I went with a more traditional engagement ring for my wedding ring because I realized that I really wanted that style. Plus I never liked the look of the band below the engagement ring and now I don’t have that!

I have both, my husband gave me the engagement ring and then on our wedding we both got matching wedding bands
