Do you dreamfeed??

How do you do this?? Does your baby sleep through the night??

I do. Feed her at 7, put her to bed. Around 11 (when I go to bed) gently grab her out of bassinet and feed her. The key is to keep the room as quiet and dark as possible. Put her back down to sleep and she doesn’t wake up until around 5am for another feeding.

Little guy goes down with a bottle around 7-7:30 & when I go to bed around 9/10 I pick him up out of his crib and give him a warm bottle while he is still asleep. He won’t wake up until 12/1. If I didn’t do this, he would be waking up around 10/11 as soon as I fell asleep sick for us it helps me get a few hrs of sleep without having to go to bed when he does.

I put my LO to sleep around 630-7. Pick him up around 9or 10 to dreamfeed. He won't wake. Another dream feed at 2am. Another at 6am. And we start our day at 8am. He won't wake. If i dont dream feed hell ve awake every 2hrs. 
I also make sure to burp him so hes not gassy.

We were recommended to put a red light in the lamp by your bed. So when you turn it on it’s enough light for you to see but not bright light that will totally wake the baby. Feed around6:30, bed by 7, dream feed at 10. She usually wakes up once between 2 or 4. 😃

Try it out and see what works for your baby. My babe is 2 months old and I tried dream feeding for almost a week. He ended up waking more during the night. I would put him down around 8 and dream feed at 11, he then was waking up between 2 and 4 am. I stopped doing the dream feed and now he sleeps from 8 pm to 6 or 7 am straight. It works for some kiddos but not others. So I just recommend trying it for a week and seeing if it helps or not.

I was doing a dream feed, around 10-11 maybe. However, it works better for our schedule if I don’t. I have a 5 year old who gets up for school at 7. When we were dreamfeeding, he was waking up at 6-7am and that was harder to deal with in the morning since it cut into me getting ready and helping big sister get ready. Now that I don’t, he wakes up around 3-4 am to eat then goes back down until 8-9 which is perfect for us since sister leaves at 7:50. It just depends on the family 😌 sometimes it works, other times it doesn’t!

It’s different for every baby - mine wakes up too much during a dream feed no matter how much we keep things quiet and calm, and he sleeps longer stretches (like 6-8 hours) without one. Instead, I cluster feed him starting in the late afternoon so I can get enough calories in him before bed.

Yes I do! He doesn't sleep through the night though but he'll normally sleep 4 or sometimes a little more hours after the dreamfeed
