Advice ?

Okay so , I agreed to go in a date with this guy. But one of my friends awhile back use to like him . They never had history or ever talked to eachother like that. Right now , she’s in a happy relationship with her boyfriend. Am I a bad friend for going on this date ? or does it not matter since it was awhilee back and she’s happy with someone else now ? Just wanted some opinions...
