Early labor and high BP

So this morning I was having some consistent contractions.. ended up heading to hospital and they put me on the monitor. I am only 1cm, made no progress in that dept after 2 hours, but my BP was outrageously high and especially for me!! My whole pregnancy has been amazing and no signs of preeclampsia or anything. On call OB told me the only reason she was letting me go home tonight with a BP like that was because everything else was truly looking good and I don’t have any other symptoms to play in with the high BP. So I follow up with my OB tomorrow morning and she says if it’s still high, we’re gonna start induction with the balloon tomorrow. My question is why could it be that high without any other symptoms?? And for the moms who have had to use the balloon, how uncomfortable was that?? Should I be concerned with my high BP? It’s honestly my anxiety about it all, but I am 38+4 so 🤷🏽‍♀️😂
