Obese on the Birth Control Pill

Hey y’all!

So I’m gonna keep this short and sweet.

I am obese according to my BMI. It’s at 40.

I am 5’5 at 240 lbs. (Yes I have tried EVERYTHING to lose weight- nothing works).

Has anyone here ever had issues with being overweight and taking the combination pill (I take Kariva)?

Is there a way to tell or preferably test if I am ovulating while on the pill? I honestly feel like I am sometimes because I just don’t trust my pill. I don’t have intercourse with my SO because I’m literally so terrified to get pregnant. I’m 19 and really don’t want that at the moment.

If anyone has any info it is much appreciated.
