Are Lupron injections painful? Menopur/bee sting painful?

Hi all, starting a new protocol today, starting with Lupron. Last time around Menopur was my worst enemy. Does anyone have experience with Lupron? Is it on par (pain wise) with Menopur or more like a gonal f? Trying to decide if I should ice the injection site before. Thanks!!

It doesn't hurt.  I always found that needles hurt.  I had my husband do them and then he had to leave for a week.  The night I did it on my own it took me an hour to get the courage to do it and then I had a panic attack for two hours after.  But I realized that it hurt far less when I did it myself and did them from that day out.

I didn’t ice the area before or after but it wasn’t that bad. I had my husband give me all the injections, I don’t love the sight of needles

I’m on the same meds, but this will be my first time taking any of them. I have taken Follistim, which is very similar to gonal-f, and didn’t have any problems or side effects.

Didn't hurt at all. It was a tiny little needle that just goes right below the skin.  Hubby gave it to me and I didn't even feel it.
