Has anyone here been induced at 0cm dilation ?

Me! I got preeclampsia at 37 weeks and they induced me right away and I was 0, cervix clamped shut! They started me out on a pill to ripen my cervix at like 9 pm. The next morning around 7 am they inserted a balloon to try and open it and started pitocin. 12 hours later I was at 3 😭. That’s when the doctor suggested breaking my water. I was scared to do it because I knew that if that didn’t help things along, the next step was C-section so I didn’t say yes right away. I took 3 more hours of labor instead and then they checked again and I was still at a 3 so at around 10 pm I let my doctor break my water. Suddenly my contractions got sooooooo much worse. That’s when I begged for the epidural because I was so exhausted and was in too much pain to sleep. Epidural was in and working at about midnight. I slept for a few hours and then the doctor came in to check on me around 5:30 am and I was almost a 10 and just about ready to push! Baby was born just after 7 am. It was tough but it could have been worse. All in all I’m happy with how it went. Baby and I were safe and well and I had the vaginal birth I was aiming for.

I did and ended up having a c section. Went in at 8pm June 30th, they put the first pill behind my cervix at around 10-10:30ish came back 4 hours wasn’t dilated so they did another one. Came back to check again I was dilated at half a cm so they did another pill. Doctor came in the morning checked I was at a 1 so he broke my water. The day went by, they started pitocin. Kept checking me and I was barely progressing. July 2nd around 7:15-7:30ish my ob came in checked me I was only at a 2 so they decided to do a c section since my water had been broken for 24 hours.

Me! I had preeclampsia. Went to hospital at 9am, baby was born that day at 5:43 pm. As soon as they gave me the first dose of cytotec, he decided he was ready to come and my water broke and I went into labor, so the medicine didn’t even have time to work. Guess he was just meant to come last week regardless!

I was induced at 37 weeks due to blood pressure and preeclampsia. Checked in and got my IV at 6pm Tuesday. First round of cytotec at 7pm, worked so well we never had the other doses. Started pitocin in the middle of the night, doctor broke my water around 7am and I was about a 1 or 2. 3pm that day I was finally at a 6, ten minutes later I was at a 10 and it was time to push. Baby was born at 6:02 pm Wednesday.

I was induced at 37+1 for high blood pressure that developed into preeclampsia. It took 4 days, pretty much all the things, and was hell. Back to back strong contractions for almost 2 days with little progress and then in the last two hours went from 2 to 10cm and only pushed for 15 minutes. Then 4 days pp I got readmitted for postpartum preeclampsia.

Has anyone here been induced at 0cm dilation ?
