What to take to help with a cold?

Any suggestions would be awesome. What has your doctor recomended mine has just told me to take rubbitosin but Im trying to stay away from medications as much as I can. Not sure if I will be able to though

Sudafed but it has to be the one behind the pharmacy counter. I just went through the worst upper respiratory infection & a cold a couple weeks ago and this was the only thing my doctor allowed me to take. Feel better soon!!

Cool mist humidifier, flonase, saline nose spray.  If you’re really congested, you can try Zyrtec to dry you up.

I'm so stuffed up these last few days. 
Have been turning on the shower super hot and standing outside it letting the steam clear me up. 
Also tea with honey and lemon juice is helping!

Try making some tea with fresh ginger sliced, honey and lemon

Saline nasal spray. Humidifier. Zarbees chest rub (menthol free) if there’s chest congestion. Vitamin C & D to speed up the process. Homemade soups :-) with extra garlic. Elderberry syrup or gummies.
