Help!! Mucus plug or discharge?

I’m 38W 6d and I had my cervix checked yesterday I’m only 1cm dilated but I just started having a brownish clear mucus/slime come out when I wipe it’s come out in multiple pieces. Has anyone else had this? My nurse also said she pulled my cervix forward so does that have anything to do with this?

Yes! I had this at my 36 week appointment. I was checked and at a 1 & lost two GIANT chunks of my mucous plug within 24 hours, with some brown and sticky and some brownish clear and sticky.
No signs of labor until I hit last night, I’m 39 weeks today.
People lose their plug and go into labor the next day, some not for weeks.

I’m 39+1 lost my plug and got bloody show 38+1 still no baby and I’m 2cm 70% effaced. Mucus plug sadly isn’t A very good indication to when you’ll have the baby. But fingers crossed you get your tiny bundle soon
