Has anyone gone back to an ex that cheated on them and had it actually work out again?

A couple years ago I was with this guy and then I went over and he had someone else in his bed. We weren't officially together but went on dates and I slept at his house often.

We've hung out a couple times since the fallout but he always assumes just because we hung out that we will get back together but he has to gain my trust again.

I know it's probably a bad idea to even think about it and it may because I'm just lonely (lol) but I'll accept any opinions about the situation! Thanks in advance babes 💕
