Guy Best Friend?

I’m fifteen and my best friend is a guy. A straight guy mind you. He’s never caused me drama, he’s been there for me when I’m crazy and sad and PMSing. He accepted me when I came out as queer. I’m the one he’ll go to when something is on his mind even though he usually likes to pretend nothing bothers him. I know who he has a crush on and he knows who I have one on.

Everyone thinks we’re dating because we hang out a lot and just in general are near each other. Even my parents think one of us has feelings for the other.

It kinda drives me nuts that a guy and a girl can’t just be really close best friends. If I was getting married next week, I wouldn’t want a maid of honor I’d want him to be my best man.
