New here!
I'm new to the group, was supposed to have a January 2020 baby but he had different plans!
Friday December 20th at 37+1 I finally went into active labour after over a week of early labour. I was stuck at 3 cm since Tuesday the 17th and was previously 1cm for a whole week before that.
At around 5:30 am Saturday the 21st I decided it was time to head to L&D as the pain was unbearable and I was crying with almost every contraction. I could barely walk the pain was so intense. Got to the hospital an hour and a bit later to find out I was 4-5 cm (finally lol) and was being admitted!
After not sleeping all night I decided the epidural would be best so I could get some rest in before pushing. At 12:20 pm they came and checked me and I was 7 cm! They decided to break my water at that point as it hadn't broke on it's own yet and at 1 pm I was 10cm!
1 pm it was go time, I started pushing, about 8 pushes and 10 minutes later and my handsome boy was born! He was born at 37 weeks 2 days and weighed 8lbs 9oz and he was 21&1/4 inches long!
He's happy and healthy and we got discharged 24 hours later, I couldn't have asked for a better Christmas present 💙💙
