Would a guy ask a girl questions about her sex life if he wasn't interested?

There is this guy I'm into. Recently we got drunk/high at a party and I ended up staying the night in his bed. We didn't do anything other than talk but he asked me a lot of questions about my sex life in my previous relationship. I didn't mind answering them and told his several times that I didn't mind when he apologized for asking. I've never talked about my sex life so in depth with another man before, only my girlfriends. Would or has a guy asked you questions about your sex life when they weren't interested in sleeping with you?
