Spotting..

So I’m currently approx 9DPO and I’ve been spotting randomly since about 5DPO/6DPO.. is this normal in a cycle? Reason for asking is I was on birth control for years and have only recently started to get normal/natural cycles. Also noticed that I’m spotting after sex too. Anyone know what’s going on?
