Bottle feeding at night

I am mostly breastfeeding, but at night my husband gives our 7 week old son a bottle before bed. I think it’s nice for bonding and to top baby off for a good nights sleep... BUT it takes forever for him to bottle feed! He will be working on the bottle for 1 1/2-2 hours! Of course that’s with them stopping for burps and diaper changes.

He does get fussy at this time so sometimes that takes time to calm him down, but it still feels like wayyy to long!

Any suggestions on why it’s taking so long?

I thought maybe nipple flow (we use size1)?
