So I have a small dilemma. We want to name our baby girl Aurora. (It’s fine if you don’t like that name, not everyone will, but please don’t be rude) I think it’s a beautiful name and we love it.

However, we do NOT want her to be nicknamed Rory (no offense to anyone who is) we just don’t care for that personally. We want her to be called her actual name.

Has anyone else named their daughter the same and had this issue? I’d hate to not use the name just because of this.

I guess we could just keep correcting people if they do try to call her that.
