Can i give tylenol to my 2 months old baby?

He just got the vaccine today and is a little fussy, somebody with experience please let me know if the doctor recommended something?
I feel so stupid I didn’t ask the pediatrician 😢

If he’s just a little fussy I wouldn’t, if he has a fever then I would. But I’d call and speak to a nurse first.

It goes by weight. If his weight is not on the chart, don’t do it. Give a cool rag and some snuggles, cool milk instead of warm. Body temp baths instead of warm ones. Stuff like that. Dress him cooler and keep your thermostat a little cooler too. At 2 months my daughter was on the weight chart and she got 2.5 mL of Tylenol but only needed 1 dose to go to sleep and was fine the next day.

I think so. But if you’re nervous, give just half the recommended dose. Or a little bit less. I usually give my daughter .5 less than recommended and she’s 15 months. I’m just nervous still lol

Yes, the pediatrician actually gave my baby Tylenol after she gave him shots for the pain :)

My nurse recommended Tylenol if my baby got a fever after his 2 month shots; that's what they recommend in Canada anyway.
