I know I am early planning but we have big families and need to set a date for our May Baby and his first birthday. We are doing a woodland theme.

What are some great places to host it? We live in the midwest and rural so outside is a big no with the cold snow and wet. Also our home just wouldn't be enough space with kiddos all inside. Which us a bummer because in the summer we can fit 75 people here comfortably.

What are some good pointers?

Food for sure will do cupcakes to keep it easy and probably sandwiches and fruit and chips any other affordable ideas?

Anyone ever rent out a hotel pool and party room?

Anyone ever do an event room for a 1st birthday? We don't have many options up this way and if we go to a jump house we are paying an arm and a leg.
