Are the leaps real?! Anyone at 12 week leap yet?

My LO turned 12 weeks on Christmas Day, I’ve been chalking up his fussiness and lack of eating and barely napping on the holiday festivities but I think now maybe it’s the leap?!

Okay so I feel stupid. What are these leaps people talk about? Like a growth spurt? I don’t know.

Yessssss.  Fussiness and nap refusal lasted about 4 days. Back to normal now!!

We are at 12 weeks today. Sometimes Ottie will go all out on her feeds and eat loads. Other times she’ll eat hardly anything! Also she is very irritable and cranky. She wants entertaining all the time and doesn’t like to stay asleep for long 😩

Leaps are definitely real 😫 every time we hit one it’s like I have a new baby.  I try to enjoy the brain development parts of the leaps and all the new things he’s learning to balance the hard parts.

I guess mine happened sooner because he's 11 weeks and is so fussy and nothing calms him.

Same! 12 weeks xmas day and that night she just turned into a screaming heap and has been going like that ever since lol. Keep telling myself it's just a phase and I'll have my bouncing baby back within the week lol.

Yes 😭 he is so fussy and eating a ton! So not normal for him... can’t wait for it to be over!

I think ours happened early. She was super fussy at 10 weeks for a few days and is now 11 weeks and eating like a fiend! Every hour and a half she downs a 4 ounce bottle. It’s crazy!
