Does anybody know what this is?

I was admitted to the hospital 2 days ago for contractions. I’m only 30 weeks and was dilated to a 2. They were able to stop the contractions and now I’m on bed rest. I’ve been given medication to take every 6 hours to control contractions but when I went to the restroom I noticed this. Is this normal? I just want to get other opinions before I make a trip back to the hospital. No contractions

Since you've already been placed on bed rest I would definitely reach out to your doctor.

Looks like a bloody show I would definitely go in again as this came before I went into labour with my son :) or atleast call your doctor for advice :)

I’m actually at the hospital now for early labor they’re trying to stop it and I had that a couple days before this all started I would call and get your cervix checked again! Because mine was a 2 and dilated to a 3! Hoping for the best🙏

Can you call your OB or advice line at your doctor’s and ask? I would call our advice nurse for that and ask if I should come in.

Looks like mucous plug

Its probably from the previous contractions and cervical changes mixed with cervical exams. Keep an eye on it and if contractions start up again, get checked out.
