Didn't know where to post this!

I had a question. If lets say I got something for Christmas from my mother in law, and its was something I wouldn't ever use and was not expansive at all would it be wrong of me to re gift it to someone else? My Mil got me a $5 big lots make up pack thing. It looks like its for pre teens or younger children(play makeup) it was only $5 as it says on the pack. I don't really use make up only if we go out on a date night and i just don't feel i will ever use it and my Daughter who is 10 that i only get to see in the summers just flew into town and we were so tight this year and only could afford 2 gifts for her so i was thinking since she is starting to get into light makeup she would love it. I just don't want my husband getting offended. But it's legit just going to sit in my closet if i don't give it to her. What do yall think?
