D&C when to try again?

Question

I had a D&C on the 24th I was 17 weeks,, how long did it take for you to try again and how long did it take to conceive?
I also have a bicornuate uterus so idk if I have to wait till the other horn has a "period"

I had a d&c in Sep at 8 wks. It took over 2 weeks to get a negative pregnancy tests and my first period came at 5 weeks. I just found out I'm pregnant so it took 2 full cycles (not including the first bleed after)

I am sorry for you loss. I had a D &C this morning. At this time we are numb but looking forward to hugging my son when he gets home and starting to try again soon.

I’m so so sorry for your loss :(! That’s devastating! I believe if you were 17 weeks that it will take a while to get out of your system! I had one on the 6th at 11 weeks and I’m still testing positive. I’d keep testing with pregnancy tests until you no longer have positives but the doctors will tell you to try right away! You are very fertile. The moment you stop bleeding you can try

I conceived with my first cycle after d&c. That pregnancy also ended in a miscarriage with it being a partial molar. After that d&c I now have to wait 6 months (March is our go again month).
