Owlet sock?

Just purchased the owlet sock because I’ve been having FTM anxiety about moving babe to her nursery. 😬🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m just wondering if any moms have had one and how long I can use it for? It was kind of a large purchase considering I’m unemployed and on maternity leave and I just wanna make sure it’s worth it and will be useful for more than a few months. Any experiences with it good or bad is appreciated!

I have one and can’t use it. Her foot is to small even on the smallest sock they sell. So the stupid thing just alerts us every few minutes. Hoping when she’s older it’ll work but would be nice to use now that she’s a newborn

We didn’t have it with our first, but we got it for this baby. We use it at night only though. You can use it for awhile... it comes with different sock sizes. I love it and don’t worry at night, which is so nice. Example of her readings below

I used it with the boy I nannied! We used it up until he was around 14 months ☺️ totally awesome thing. We loved it!

Got it with my first and we used it until 15 months or so only because he started taking it off himself haha but you can use it up to 18 months.
Using it a second time now with my daughter. I love it! Their customer service is also AMAZING!

This is my third. I got it bc I was anxious every time with the other two. Constantly checking on baby. I finally feel comfortable sleeping and not worrying so much about her. It was completely worth it to me. We use it at nighttime only so far. Just bc we are awake during the day when she naps so doesn’t seem necessary.

I’ve read information stating that, when tested, the owlet often fails to read signals of distress, and that it does not help prevent SIDS.
I was worried sick to sleep while my baby slept as I always wanted to watch her. It made me want to buy the owlet, but after reading these articles I realized that I would still not have piece of mind as I’d always be wondering, ‘does the technology actually work?’
