Anyone else struggle with pain with a baby with a high pallet? I never had issues with nursing my first. This baby it’s still so painful, I’m almost a month in. I’ve seen a lactation consultant 3x. She said she has a high pallet, and a very small lip tie that wouldn’t cause nursing pain (her upper lip flairs great). I’m currently using an over the counter yeast infection treatment per the lactation consultant to see if that could be the cause (but baby has no sign of thrush)... but that’s doesn’t seem to help either. The only “semi” comfortable position to nurse is football, which is so awkward and is killing my back. I’m just at a loss what to do or why it hurts so much, right breast worse then left.
