First born NICU baby

Has anyone else had a previous traumatic birth experience just wondering how you are preparing yourself this time round 🤰🏼💕

My first born was natural birth with a short cord that snapped at birth she was resuscitated and given a blood transfusion and flown to NICU (she flew with her father and I had to be driven) it was 17 hours before I got to see her, I’m so excited for this pregnancy but also terrified of not being able to hold my baby once it is born again.

But in a funny way I’m also nervous to see what newborn life is like outside of NICU 😂
