Hi, anyone have advice for me?

My baby girl arrived December 26 right on time and seems like such a happy baby! But whenever we try to put her down in a bassinet or pack and play she will wake up right away. We've had to take turns holding her at night and I really wish we could get more sleep. My first daughter wasn't like this so I'm worried this means we're in for a tricky sleeper. I don't want to co-sleep or use an inclined chair or anything. Help!
