Do you smoke marijuana? * comment if* Are you against it and do you classify it as a drug?

So I wanted to try to get a view on people’s feelings about marijuana.

Do you use it recreationally? Do you use it for medicinal purposes? How does it usually make you feel? Do you not care for it or if other people smoke? Or are you completely against and if so, why?

*why I’m asking*

My mom has been going through a LOT and long story short she’s been taking prescription pills for neuropathy and pain/anxiety/insomnia/loss of appetite etc etc.

It’s been 7 years almost since she’s been in remission and I HATE that she resorts to her medication for “relief” but also says it’s not “strong” enough for her.

She’s currently seeking treatment for that and physical therapy, amongst other things for other reasons.

I used to hate smoking weed, I tried it when I was a little younger with all my friends and it made me feel awful and I used to be COMPLETELY against it.

I had similar issues that my mom had, other than the neuropathy I struggled with an eating disorder, anxiety attacks, insomnia, loss of appetite, depression. I lost a LOT of weight.

I had a friend of mine back then tell me not to psych myself out (weed made me paranoid) and just smoke a bowl by myself at the end of the night. To think of it more as my medicine.

I researched the HELL out of it and I now grow my own weed. It’s my MEDICINE. It helps me eat, sleep, it calms me down. It helps me sleep when i need to. It wakes me up when i have too. I lost SO much weight from not eating. I was 144 and dropped down to 108lbs. Working my way back up to 135lbs 🤞🏼

My husband and I are both into it and grow together and we hope to start something with weed infused food 👀🤞🏼

I don’t look at it as “getting me high” i really don’t!! It doesn’t really make me feel “high”

It’s crazy how much your views can change in the span of 7 years. My life has done a complete 360° over those years.

Crazy to say I’m grateful for weed? 🤔
