Not sleeping all night yet!

Hi! I have a 1yr old baby girl who has trouble sleeping through the night. Recently a good night for her is waking up once or twice. In the past she’d wake up once and I’d bring her into my bed at about 6 am. I don’t mind her in my bed as long as she’s slept most of the night in her own bed. We’ve done routines, noise machines, bath, books every night. We’ve let her cry it out a little, too. Maybe you have a routine or some advice that might help!

We started to get into a routine that started to work, but then she got sick. So we started allll over again.

My doctor stated that me going into her room and holding her/rocking her back to sleep isn’t helping. It’s not training her, it’s training ME. (Going in to check on her is okay, of course)

- How long do you let your baby cry for?

- What routine seems to work for you?

- I know she’s old enough to cry and self soothe, but I’ve always been there to comfort her. How did you break the cycle for you baby?

- Do certain foods help them become full and sleepy?

- Is there something I should add to her routine?

PS : It’s 2am here, and she’s woken up 3 times. We bring her in her room for bed time around 8:30. Please no judgement! She’s my first baby
