I liked this guy at my school a lot, and it kinda seemed like he didn’t know what was going on. A couple weeks ago, my “friend” came up to me and said “he knows” and she had just found out that I liked him the day before.

At that point I still liked him and didn’t really care if he didn’t like me like that cause I will always be okay with just being friends.

So anyway, he didn’t talk to me for two weeks which made me super upset because we didn’t talk anymore.

Both of his parents are teachers, and I’ve had them both direct my school band. His mom knows me really well and stops to talk to me at the store and stuff, but I don’t know if she knows that I like her son.

He started talking to me after a couple of weeks, but all he talks to me about is my height. I’m 5’3 and I’m done growing but he is almost 5’8 and still growing.

Eventually my crush started fading and I didn’t really care that he didn’t talk to me anymore.

Then my best friend told me that he said good things about me behind my back, and we started talking more. So I started to like him again and we talk every single day.

We went to a school assembly together since we have the same 4th period along with my “friend”. We sat on opposite ends of the bleachers for a game, and my “friend” comes up to me asks if I still like him, doesn’t let me answer, and says “well I like him so it doesn’t matter”

I’m sorry if there are grammatical errors or if this rant doesn’t make since. I tried to juggle the backstory and explanation in the same tense.

Can you give me advice about what I should do either to talk to him more, or how to deal with my friend?
