I go for my 6 week PP Monday and I’m so nervous.. I’m getting the IUD and I think that’s what I’m really stressing about, I’m also afraid that she’s going to tell me I’m not healing correctly for whatever reason. I had a pretty traumatizing birth/after birth and I think that might be playing a role in my anxiety for my appointment. What should I expect at this appointment other than the exam? For those of you that had/have the IUD, what should I expect during placement and afterwards?

I’m so nervous.. not to mention I’m still a bit tender down there due to the 20 stitches I had to get. 😫😫😣
