7-8 days late...

Too nervous to test. How long should i wait to test? Or just wait and see what happens? Been trying for 2.5-almost 3 years (April will be 3 years). Hoping and praying this is actually it but i dont want to test and be disappointed. My breasts are very sore and tender but other than that i have no other symptoms that I've noticed. I have been regular with my periods for the past at least 6 months, the last time i was even remotely late it was by a day or 2. Im normally pretty regular. I cant even remember a time that i was this late. Thoughts?
