Does anyone know what this is

My 14 month old is getting over a cold and fever. And this showed up yesterday only on his belly and back?

I just rook my son to the er yesterday (12/29/19) for a rash just like this, except it was on his shoulders/neck and then began to spread to his belly and chest. They told me it was possibly just a viral rash, or it could be a strep rash and to bring him to his pediatrician today (12/30/19)

Some viruses cause rashes. I’m not a medical professional so call your doctor if you’re concerned. But my pediatrician just looked at a rash that looked worse than that (but was in same place) on my 6 month old and said it looked to be from a virus.
