Hey Ladies, I had my Mirena iud placed December 4th, 2019 as a new form of birth control after having my son in August (c-section delivery) My OB had issues because my uterus tilts back but she told me to expect cramping and bleeding after insertion. The first few days after I only had spotting and light bleeding with a few “period like cramps” Now I’ve had heavy bleeding since December 11th. Before I got pregnant I was on the pill and my periods were typically 5-6 days long with moderate bleeding. This is my first time having an iud so I’m not sure what to expect as “normal” & I’m not the type to run to the doctor right away. Any insight is greatly appreciated 😊
