First IUI questions

I’m doing my first IUI this month. I usually go in weekly for fertility acupuncture, so what day should I schedule acupuncture when I have my IUI? The day of? Day before? Day after? I’m confused.

Also, how long does the IUI take? My husband has to watch our 2yo so I’m wondering if it would be too long for them to wait in the lobby, or if they should just stay home instead. If they stay home, is it okay for me to drive myself home? I hope someone can help!
