Do you still carry a purse with your diaper bag?!

Question

Seeking tips and advice for how to adjust to life with a diaper bag. I use to carry large vera bradley totes with a full size wallet, but I just can't carry everything now with the diaper bag!  I fear a Crossbody wouldn't work with I carry my baby in my wrap..help a mama out..i keep losing my cards switching them from diaper bag to purse 🙍 is this just how it's going to be?! 😂

I don’t even use an actual diaper bag I have a backpack that I bought from Walmart and I use it as my purse to lol my baby goes everywhere I go and it was to much of a hassle to carry my purse diaper bag and my baby around and whatever else I needed so I combined my purse and the bag 🤷🏼‍♀️ I also made sure to get a pretty big and spacious backpack

I got a diaper bag with a "Mommy pocket" for my wallet, phone, and sunglasses. Once my son was a bit older, around 9m, I started carrying a small purse. It wasn't as necessary to have the diaper bag in every store but it was hard to carry him, my phone, and my wallet. So I mostly left the diaper bag in the car and used the purse to run into stores.

I put everything in my coat pockets- card holder (I just bring my debit card, ID and bus pass), lip balm, keys, phone, headphones. If I need something bigger (like a water bottle) I just put it in the diaper bag.

I have a phone case that is my wallet. It works great because I being my phone with me everywhere so I don't have to worry about forgetting my wallet.

I got a large tote bag with a zipper and I use that as my daily diaper bag. I just throw my wallet in there and go about my errands. If we are going somewhere for an extended period of time, I have a backpack diaper bag that I either throw my wallet in or use a crossbody bag. I’ll be using the crossbody bag when I go back to work and she goes to daycare.

I have this awesome wallet that usually is in my diaper bag; however, it has a wrist strap & I can zip my phone up in it & clip my keys to it, so if I am going somewhere & don't want a full purse & don't have the kids, I can just grab this & go!

If I'm going in somewhere and don't need all of the stuff in my purse I usually just throw my wallet and keys in the diaper bag. But I still have a purse because I go places like work and don't always have the baby with me.
