Hand foot and mouth?

So my daughter has what I believe may be HFMD, but she has not had a fever or acted sick AT ALL. Anyone else have experience with that? If she does have it, how do I know when she’s no longer contagious if I don’t have a fever to go off of?

I'm a preschool teacher and a ton of the kids got it at my school. They literally had 1 or 2 dots in the mouth and on hands and were acting fine. No fevers or anything..all of them
..this was at least 15 kids. Sometimes it can be mild.

My daughter had a fever and also some spots which i thought just from a bug. The doctor said hfmd. But the next day there are no new spots. So i go and check again. The doctor said chicken pox. 🤦‍♀️ then 3 days later, it turns out the fever is cause of sore throt. And the spots is from the bed bugs coz we stayed at homestay for holiday. The doctor said if hfmd should check her mouth if got any ulser.

My son had hand foot and mouth. He had a severe severe fever about a day after the first few spots . I’ll attach photos so u can see what they looked like . We were in the hospital for 2 days cause his fever was so high and breathing was off . 
His entire butt and legs were also very blistered but I don’t have any pics sh at are appropriate to add

Did she have a fever to begin with? Roseola can look very similar but the rash comes a few days after the fever (and they're no longer contagious by the time the rash comes). We've had both. HFMD is VERY uncomfortable, almost always accompanied by a fever, and highly contagious.
