Leaving baby in bed?

Is it ok to leave my baby in his bed sleeping and go downstairs to clean?

Depends on what you use as a bed - bassinet or crib? Sure. 
Dock a tot? No.

I think so as long as you have a baby Monitor and check on him every so often ￼

Can you be a bit more specific?
I get shower / cleaning done ( upstairs) when my girl is asleep in her crib ( upstairs) 
When I do light cleaning, I put her in her bouncer which is on same level ( in kitchen).
I only do upstairs if she’s napping- and I get to vacuum upstairs only if BF is watching her . 
I don’t just put her in her crib while she is awake to clean downstairs, but if you do and it works then go for it!

When my daughter is sleeping I clean downstairs all the time. I have a monitor and I keep close so I can see and hear her, but she doesn’t need me to sit in her room in silence when she’s sleeping in her crib.

As long as it’s a safe sleeping space. My babies’ bedroom is upstairs and we watch TV downstairs at night.
