So, I went on a date with this guy last weekend who I was seeing for about 8 months. We usually saw each other every other weekend, because we live 2 hours away from each other. Most of the time we met up half way and we always had fun going out and doing stuff. The past couple of times i’ve seen him he’s been acting sus and on his phone the whole time.. When I looked over a few of the times his chat was open with the same girl, the entire time. I mean, while eating, while we’re talking, walking, the entire time we were together. I mean his eyes were GLUED to his phone. He would barely reply when i was talking. I was playing a game at the arcade and beat the daily high score, when I was all happy I turned around and he wasn’t even facing me, just turned around on his phone. I started getting annoyed and I jokingly leaned over his shoulder and said “ouuu who’s that girl” and laughed. He immediately locked his phone and tucked it in his pocket. Y’all.. He really says to me “chiiiilll it’s my bro” I shook my head, scoffed and left. He tried chasing me down and started saying i’m over reacting and why should I care if he’s texting his boy. I said “I drove an hour to go on a date with someone who’s for the past 3 hours been more interested texting another girl than talking to me at all. I don’t want to waste any more time” And I drove off and left.. Looking back, was I being petty and over reacting? I just found it so rude and embarrassing and couldn’t be in that situation anymore.
