How do I know if my water broke?

As I was vomiting just now I felt liquid come out. Sometimes I pee when I vomit but this felt kind of different, also I had JUST peed before I threw up and usually if I do that, I don’t pee when I throw up. I was wearing a big pad at the time (thanks to peeing when I sneeze) so I’m not really sure. If it’s my water will i definitely know? Will it continue to come out? Is it possible to not know? It was probably pee but idk. I’m due in a week, lost my mucus plug, and I’m 3cm dilated.

Fresh pad, lay down for a half hour, stand up....if you start leaking fluid, it’s your water...if not, it was likely just pee :)

As far as I know if it was your water breaking it will continue to leak. So just wear a fresh pad and monitor it.

My water broke at 36 weeks it didn’t fully break it only partially broke ... I sat down and peed and when I was done peeing clear liquid came out so I knew it was my water .... however I took my sweet time getting to the hospital since I was not having contractions ... finished my episode of greys lol took a shower ate some food and I didn’t leak at all anymore ..... it was 6 hours later when I had just a tiny tiny bit come out
