How to deal at work
7 weeks tomorrow with my first baby. The morning sickness just started up on Christmas day. I have periods every day (mostly late afternoon) where I'm so nauseous I'm on the verge of throwing up but nothing happens. Nothing sounds good and I'm scared to eat, but an empty stomach makes it worse. All this on top of insomnia and being exhausted all day. I basically feel like shit 24/7. Luckily I've been off work since Christmas and don't go back til January 6th. I'm still making it to the gym in the mornings but then I spend the rest of the day on the couch. I'll be 8 weeks when I go back to work (and have my first OB appointment that week, too). How the hell am I going to adjust and handle this constant shitty feeling when I go back to work? I take Lexapro for anxiety but my primary doctor told me to quit. I'm hoping the OB will feel differently and let me keep taking it. That would help the way I'm feeling tremendously.
