Is it safe to use a breast pump to try to induce labor? I am 38 weeks.

I am just ready to have this baby. I do plan on talking to my doctor before I try anything.

Just let your labour happen naturally..... I don’t understand why people keep trying to induce labour when it’s not medically necessary! It can cause more harm than good. Just let your body do what it’s supposed to do, when its time for it to do it!

I used my breast pump when I first got it just to check it out didn’t cause any contractions or anything. It doesn’t hurt to try. In the end baby will come when they want! Good luck mama!

Contrary to belief,  you'll only go IN TO labor when your body is actually ready. You can try whatever you want, but if your body isnt ready, it wont help. May actually hinder because you'll just be (could) bringing on false contractions that dont lead into labor. Now you'll be all stressed out and wondering if you should go to L&D. It will happen when it happens and I say just let it be 🤷‍♀️

I just used my hands to stimulate my nipples . My water broke shortly after that . I am now waiting for my bundle.
