My son was a pacifier user and I was able to kick him from that habit by 18 months by poking a hole in it. My daughter on the other hand HATES pacifiers. She figured out her thumb about 2 weeks ago. She lives by it now. I'm bummed since I know it's a harder habit to break (my youngest sister was a thumb sucker and she didn't stop until 8-I'm sure this isn't the norm, but still..). I am stoked she found something to soothe herself, but I'm still a bit bummed because I know to break that habit will require gross tasting items (cayenne pepper or etc). She's still frickin adorable though 😂
