Next steps? (First pregnancy)

I got my first positive pregnancy test on Christmas eve (and every test since then has been very positive). I have not been able to get ahold of my Gyn or fertility specialist Dr. that I had one consultation with (not even aware that I was pregnant already)!...What do I do now? Should I try to make an appointment with my Gyn or find an OB? According to all of the apps and calculators, I am about 5 weeks.

Call your OB mine always has me come in for a confirmation appointment which is a urine sample, std test (required by law in the US), and he checks out my cervix. Then I go back at 11 weeks to have my Ultrasound done and the very lengthy first prenatal appointment

I would call and OB/Gyn, mine had me come in right away (at about 5 weeks) for a confirmation and blood work and then my first “real” appointment will be at 9 weeks for my first ultrasound and the whole run down of every thing else they want to talk about family history and such.

I also found out on Christmas Eve. I’m 5 weeks 1 day. I didn’t have an OB so I found one and scheduled an appointment. I will 6 weeks and 2 days on that day. Not sure if it’s just going to be blood work or an ultrasound.

They likely won’t have you come in until 10-12 weeks anyways so there isn’t a huge rush. Generally doctors only see you early if you have a history of loss or Used fertility treatment to get pregnant. Congrats !
